Seeking a change, Nozaki decides to go on a trip. On the morning of his departure, he meets Torigoe at their designated meeting spot. Torigoe suggests avoiding the expressway and instead taking National Routes to Kagoshima. And so, the journey of two men, both grappling with a sense of loss, begins.
